Due to the outbreak of World War I, a large number of refugees from Belgium settled in Blackpool. In recognition, Blackpool adopted the colours of the Belgian Flag for for what was believed to be one season.

This particular crest was first seen in 1908 on the red shirts. We do not have any photos to concur this was on these particular shirts, but if finances were in place to commence them, it would have been the one most likely to appear on this shirt.

A wonderful design and one we are proud to bring you for the very first time. Grandad collar, 3 button fastening. The sleeves have been made short as a modern day representation of a fantastic addition to any Seasiders collection
