Charlton Athletic 1947 FA Cup Winners Retro Shirt

Charlton defeated Burnley 1 goal to nil to lift the FA Cup, in what would be the tournaments 66th finale. Chris Duffy scored the winning goal in extra time. It was the second consecutive final for the Addicks after losing to Derby County the previous year.

In a bold move, Charlton wore white with red trim, moving away from the traditional red jerseys. Although the original never had a crest on, the crest was used around this period and appeared on the shirt in the previous final in 46. We have added “FA Cup Final 1947” underneath the crest as a nod to the occasion, all embroidered.
